The Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Rawdah Nasheed Group was founded in 1992. Since its inception, the group has achieved ​​several remarkable milestones which have indirectly raised the corporate image of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Among its major achievements are becoming the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Nasheed Competition champion, National Nasheed Competition runner-up in 1993, National Nasheed Competition champion in 1993, National Nasheed Competition champion in 1994, National Nasheed Festival (Traditional Category) champion in 1998 and National Nasheed Festival (Modern Category) champion in 1999. It also won the Best Lyrics Award at the 13th National Nasheed Festival in 2002. It was a guest nasheed group at the Sabah Nasheed Festival in 1997 and was often invited by the International Quran Recital Central Committee to perform. The group’s mentor is Haji Mahzan Manan, a well-known songwriter, composer and lyricist in the country as well as a respected figure in the nasheed circle. The group manager is Hajah Zaiton Haji Ajamain   PURPOSE OF FORMATION   The goal of the group is to bring the message of Islamic thought through the concept of entertainment in remembrance of Allah. It is hoped that this concept will be championed by advocates of an increasingly popular genre, the nasheed. We are confident that if the concept is supported by the entire nasheed community, society will be persuaded to choose the type of entertainment that does not distract the listener from remembering Allah. The Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Rayyan Nasheed Group was established on 6 February 2004 under the auspices of Dato' Dr Firdaus bin Haji Abdullah, Director-General of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. JAKARTA, 15-18 DISEMBER 2006 - Satu Festival Exhibisi Seni Budaya Islam Negara-Negara Anggota MABIMS telah berlangsung di Jakarta.  Kumpulan Nasyid Rayyan DBP telah dipilih oleh JAKIM mewakili negara ke Festival ini.  Festival yang penuh gilang gemilang  selama 2 hari ini telah dirasmikan oleh Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia iaitu Bapak Haji Muhammad Maftuh Basyuni [selanjutnya] KUMPULAN NASYID RAYYAN JOHAN DAN PERSEMBAHAN TERBAIK Kumpulan Nasyid Rayyan, Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka yang mewakili Kementerian-kementerian Malaysia dalam Festival Nasyid Peringkat Kebangsaan ke-17 1427H/2006 [selanjutnya]
